Welcome to our first blog post! We will be introducing ourselves, the games we play, and some of our other adventures in later posts.
The kids and I did a little writing and looking through photos last night. After a fun, laughter-filled conversation and much editing, we came up with this. I'll let you guess which ones actually happened in our family. Also, we would love to hear your stories!
You know kids have gamer parents when…
1.) They start their alphabet with “A, F, K…”
2.) They ask you if there were still dragons around when you were a kid.
3.) They have Elvish names that no one can pronounce.
4.) They set up an auction house at school selling virtual items.
5.) They search for games on the Internet at age two, even though they have to hold the mouse with both hands.
6.) When their friends have a problem, they suggest googling the boss strat.
7.) They can cause the most amount of destruction in the shortest period of time, and unlike most kids, they have meters that can prove it.
8.) They make up character stats for the household pets.
9.) They come home from school with a note from their teacher and tell their parents that they got teacher aggro.
10.) They know the best way to win in any situation is to think out the problem and work as a team, but the raid leader gets to tell everyone else what to do.
